F. Terry Shumate

F. Terry Shumate, age 71, died Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. He was born on Friday, July 7, 1939 in Carthage, Texas to the late Fred and Janie Shumate. He was a member of Holly Tree Chapel where he sang in the choir and a Delta Sigma from Stephen F. Austin University.

He is survived by his wife Donna Shumate; two sons, Torre Shumate of Euless, Texas and Todd Shumate of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Don Shumate of Sequin, Texas and Charles Shumate of New Braunfels, Texas; and three grandchildren, Conner Shumate, Brittany Morgan and Preston Jeffrey.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Holly Tree Chapel in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas with Bro. Paul Myers officiating.
