Fay Lindley of Tyler, Texas and formerly of Mineola, Texas where she lived most of her life, passed away July 3, 2007 at the age of 81. She was born November 16, 1925 to the late Irvin Glen McCain and Charlie Fay (Bogan) McCain in Mineola. She was a member of the Green Acres Church in Tyler. After her husbands death she moved to South Carolina with her daughter and her family, where she was a member of the Tega Cay Baptist Church "Young At Heart" Senior Citizens Fellowship. While living in Mineola she was an active member of First Baptist Church and the Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dan Lindley, two sisters, Mary Louise Pyke and Sara Frances Payne and one brother, Irvin Glen McCain, Jr. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ken Murphy of Tyler, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Dick and Aurita Lindley of Beaumont, Texas; grandchildren, Kristopher Stainback of Wilmington, North Carolina, Seth and wife Briana Stainback of Ft. Mill, South Carolina, Julie Lindley of Salt Lake City, Utah, Caitlin Lindley of Evanston, Wyoming, and numerous nieces and nephews.
