Fenton Hubert William Kovic was born August 25, 1937, in Pittsburgh, PA and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
Fenton graduated from Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas. He went on to North Texas State University in Denton, Texas where he met his wife Judith Ann Capps Kovic. After graduating for North Texas State University, he finished his Master of Divinity at a seminary in Kentucky.
Fenton was a retired Episcopal Priest, former owner of D'Col Aviation and a member of TICA, where he loved raising and showing cats. He also volunteered at Christus Mothers Frances Hospital, ETMC, Tyler Day Nursery and City of Tyler Municipal Courts.
Fenton was an only child. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond Kovic and his mother Olive Mae Palmer Kovic.
He is survived by wife of 62 years, Judith Ann Capps Kovic. daughter D' ann Kovic and Maricia Mundon of Plano, Texas, son Colin and wife Shana Kovic of Mineola, Texas.
Three grandchildren: Lana Nicole and husband Aaron Miers, of Tyler, Texas, Ashton Rose and husband Jay Seo, of Columbus, OH, and Haley Rae and husband Blake Reynolds, of Mineola, Texas and four great grandchildren: Jaelyn Miers, Graeson Miers, Ara Seo and Jin Seo.
