Florence Minerva Gore

Florence Minerva Gore, age 96, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Wednesday, October 6, 1915 in Fredna, Texas to the late James and Mary Ford. She attended Golden United Methodist Church in Golden, Texas. She was known for her warm smile and was loved by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lewis M. Gore; and a brother Leslie Ford.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Carr and husband Kenneth of Mineola, Texas; two grandchildren Kenneth Ray Carr and wife Avantika of Keller, Texas and Joe M. Carr and wife Sammie of Golden; and two great grandchildren, Amari Carr and Kenley Carr.

Visitation for Ms. Gore will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola from 6- 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Golden United Methodist Church.
