Floyce Vera Mcelyea

Floyce Vera McElyea, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Winnsboro. She was born on March 18, 1935 in Mt. Pleasant to the late William Denny and Eula Denny. She was retired from Titus county Hospital and a member of Farmers Academy Baptist Church in Mt. Pleasant.
Floyce was preceded in death by parents, William Lester and Eula Denny; sons, Jimmy McElyea and Johnny McElyea; sisters, (twin) Joyce Charleton, Willie Mae Townsend and Helen Martin and brothers, Orvil Denny and Clifton Denny.
She is survived by her son, Daryl Gene McElyea and wife, Vicki of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and two great great grandkids.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX at 2:00 pm with Jeffrey Chad McElyea conducting. Honorary pallbearers are Chad McElyea, Matthew McElyea, Christopher Greenwood, Jason Hale, David McElyea, Jason McElyea, Matt Langham, Dwayne Baker, Bryan Watson and Johathan Sword.
