Frances Marie Grubbs

Frances Marie Reed Grubbs, age 90 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 in Quitman. Frances was born in Austin on February 23, 1924 to the late George Thomas and Georgia India Mobley Reed. She was a homemaker, a seamstress, and machine knitter. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. She was a member of the Winnsboro Art League, Winnsboro Progressive Study Club, Northeast Texas Machine Knitters Guild, former Program Director of Meals-On-Wheels, and Women's Missionary Union at First Baptist Church, and President of the Residents Council at the Heritage Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Mr. Harold Grubbs, and a brother, Lee Roy Reed. She is survived by three daughters, Sheila Baimbridge and husband Terry of Santa Fe, TX., Delyse Hart and partner Mick Guedry of Santa Fe, TX., Jalayne Robinson and husband David of Winnsboro; three grandchildren, Ian Hart, Brandon Baimbridge, Raegan Swann; four great-grandchildren, Hunter and Isabelle Hart, Capri Swann and Liam Baimbridge.
