Frances Maurine Prior

Frances Maurine Prior of Van, TX, formally of Mineola died on June 29, 2014. Mrs. Prior was born in Mineola, TX, on Tuesday, March 21, 1944 to the late Nelse and Imogene Magee. She was a member of Harvest Acres Baptist Church and was a member of the TOPS Club. She loved reading books and trivia.

She is preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Sean Polley.

She is survived by her husband, Emmett Zayne Prior of Van; three daughters, Sheila Prior of Athens, TX, Sherrie Polley and husband Ronny of Mineola and Sherrel Mathis of Van; four grandchildren, Roxann Luelen, Donnie Polley, Sean Wilson and Dwayne Mathis II; four great grandchildren, Dameion Polley, Rayne Graves, Payton Hardin, Case Ethan Polley.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola, on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 6 – 8 PM.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola. Interment will follow at Rodgers Cemetery in Grand Saline, TX.
