Frances Swann

Mrs. Frances Swann, age 88 of Mesquite, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. She was born January 29, 1930 in Gonzales, Texas to the late Cornelius Casey and Ethel Elledge Casey. She was retired from Xerox and was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William Eugene Swann. Frances is survived by her two daughters, Elaine Abbott and husband, Larry, of Garland and Kay Burke of Denton; brother, Carl Casey of Broaddus; sister, June Watts of Alvarado; seven grandchildren, Jeff Abbott and wife, Dee Dee, Lara Lundy, Missy McFarland and husband, Wes, Josh Abbott and wife, Luisa, Jason Burke and wife, Shelli, Keith Burke and wife, Lisa, and April Burke; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. Frances, lovingly known as "Granny" to many, extended her lifelong love for Christ in all that she said and did. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home, 816 W. Broadway, Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm in the Beaty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Perry Shirley conducting. Interment will be at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro, with her great grandsons serving as pallbearers.
