Frances Lee Utley

Mrs. Frances Lee Utley, age 90 of Mineola, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 in Tyler. She was born on February 11, 1932 in Roby, Texas to the late Francis Marion Rowan and Mattie Lee Hale Rowan.

Mrs. Utley loved Jesus and was a member of Cottonwood Assembly of God Church, a bookkeeper for Dr. Schaffrahn for many years and a seamstress at Buddy Schoellkopf and Lorna Fashions. She loved her family and friends with all of her heart and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband James Utley in 2014, brothers, Billy Rowan and J D Rowan.

Survivors include sons, Rickey Lynn Utley of Paris, Texas, Wendell Max Utley and wife, Allison of Mineola; daughters, Latrena Ramirez and husband, Ricky of Quitman, Sheila Valek and husband, Darren of Mineola; brother, Jackie Rowan of Sweetwater; sister, Margaret Proctor of Sweetwater; grandchildren, Klo Utley, Justin Utley (Kim), Caleb Utley, Brittney Wilson (Keagan), Andrea Valek, Daniel Utley (Bobbi), Cassie Chaffin (Trent), and Hannah Valek; great grandchildren, Lane, Katherine, Eva, Samuel, Georgia, Winston, Graham, and Vivian.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Beaty Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, Rev. Otis Lee conducting. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, with Klo Utley, Justin Utley, Caleb Utley, Daniel Utley, Keagan Wilson, and Trent Chaffin serving as pallbearers.
