Frank L. Hazelwood

Frank L. “Bubba” Hazelwood, Jr., died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 in Quitman, Texas. He was born on Monday, November 17, 1958 in Tyler, Texas to Frank and Wanda Hazelwood. He was a carpenter and a Deacon at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church in Quitman, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank L. Hazelwood, Sr.; a brother, David Hazelwood; and a sister, Francine Willis.

He is survived by his mother, Wanda Hazelwood of Tyler, Texas; his wife of 34 years, Belinda Hazelwood of Mineola; a son, Cody Hazelwood and fiancé Brianna of Quitman; two daughters, Tammy Hazelwood Turner and husband Jared of Mineola and Ashley Hazelwood Simmons and husband Heath of Sulphur Springs, Texas; four sisters, Donna Cope of Ben Wheeler, Texas, Debra Hazelwood of Houston, Texas, Kathy Goldwater of Tyler and Diane Martin of Tyler; two grandchildren, Hunter Frank Turner and Rylan Nicole Simmons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Simmons will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Hubbard Chapel Baptist Church in Quitman followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM with Bro. Earl Brown and Bro. Kenny Ray officiating.

Interment will be at Concord Cemetery.
