Fred Lloyd Stehl Ii

Fred Lloyd Stehl II; also known as Busty to friends and family passed peacefully, on July 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 15, 1945, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Fred Lloyd Stehl and Lorena Mae.

At just 17 years old, Fred joined the U.S. Army, which brought him to Fort Lewis, Washington. There, he met the love of his life, Ellen Arlene Ricketts. Together they shared 57 beautiful years, building a life centered on love, faith, and family.

Fred is survived by his devoted wife Ellen; their children, Elise (Stehl) Ricks; Son-in-law, Matthew Ricks; and their son Derek Stehl. He was a proud grandfather to Zachary Ricks and his wife, Jessica (Brooks) Ricks; Travis Ricks; Brooklynn Stehl; Terasa Stehl and Nakayla Grotts.

He is now reunited in the arms of Jesus with their beloved son, Freddy Stehl III.

Fred will be remembered for his warm heart, unwavering faith, and the deep love he poured into his family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the family he cherished.
