Freda G. Smith

Freda Green Smith, age 94 of Winnsboro, passed away, Tuesday, January 6, 2009 in Tyler. She was born in Wood County on October 12, 1914 to the late Arthur and Effie Lula Scoggins Green. She was retired from Irby's grocery, and attended Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Clark Smith. She is survived by her son, Monte and wife Linda Smith of Hawkins; brother, Arthur "Jim" Green, Jr. and wife Tot of Powderly; sister-in-law, Hazel Green of Hawkins; three grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Alessa Smith, Tyler Smith; three great-grandchildren, Dominic Gluskin, Cadance Smith, Kelsey Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
