Gaetano D'Angelo

Gaetano D’Angelo, age 82 of Mineola, died Friday, September 6, 2013 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Sunday, September 6, 1931 in Alcamo, Sicily to Giovanni and Maria D’Angelo. Mr. D’Angelo graduated from Bologna University in Italy with a degree in Law. Upon moving to the United States, he graduated from Fordham University, NY with a degree in Secondary language. Mr. D’Angelo went on to receive his Masters Degree in Social Work from NYU. He was a very accomplished fingerprint technician, Entrepreneur, and baker.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anna Maria D’Angelo of Mineola, Texas; two sons, John D’Angelo and wife Mary Ann of Charlotte, NC and Carlo D’Angelo and wife Dianna of Mineola; four grandchildren, Ellery and Amedea D’Angelo and Andrew and Gabriella Queipo; great-grandchild, Adrian Queipo.

Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary following at 8:00 PM on Monday, September 09, 2013 at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Mineola on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Father Efren Nano officiating.

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
