Galon D Walker

Galon D. Walker, age 91, of Quitman, Texas, died Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Walker was employed by LTV in Grand Prairie. Mr. Walker married the late Ernestine (Myers) walker on June 9, 1945. They were married a wonderful 58 years. He was born the son of Newton Walker and the late Rose (George) Walker on January 3, 1917. He is survived by his one daughter, Veta (Walker) Hobbs of Ellenwood, Ga; one son, Jimmy Galon Walker; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
