Garland Ford, age 74, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, September 29, 1937 in San Saba County, Texas to the late Walter and Stella Burk Ford. He was a service manager for a telecommunications company and a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America. He attended Holly Tree Chapel at Holly Lake Ranch.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ford of Holly Lake Ranch; two sons, Kyle Edward Ford and wife Desiree of Mansfield, Texas and Jeremy Lynn Ford and wife Susan of Wilton, Connecticut; a sister, Renza Smith of Canyon Lake, Texas and four grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Ford will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins, Texas from 6:00 PM - 8:00PM.

Funeral services will be held at Holly Tree Chapel at Holly Lake Ranch on Monday, September 3, 2012 at 10:30AM with Dr. Tim Mink officiating.

Interment will follow at Holly Tree Cemetery.
