Garvis Raymond Anglin

Mr. Garvis R. Anglin, age 82 of Pine Forest, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 in Sulphur Springs. Born on January 16, 1929 in Pine Forest, he was the only son of the late John R. and Reba Elizabeth Bingham Anglin. He was a dairy farmer for fifty years before retiring. He was a former member of the Como-Pickton School Board, former president of the Pine Forest Community Council, and served on the ASC board. He was a member of the Pine Forest Methodist Church, where he formerly served as song leader. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia Anglin. He is survived by two sons, Jace Anglin and wife Roselyn of Pine Forest, Randy Anglin and wife Linda of Pine Forest; six grandchildren, Daci Rose Rawson, Jonathan Cody Anglin, Dakota Tate Anglin, Tiffany Sunshine Anglin, Greg Anglin, Laura Ritchie; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Eastwood, Savannah Ritchie, Caden Anglin, Braddox Rawson, Ryder Jace Rawson.
