Gary was outgoing and friendly. He enjoyed telling a good story over a good cup of coffee. He was a gifted artist, known for his sketches and paintings of western landscapes and portraits.

Growing up in big country, he had a standing invitation to paint at the Four-Sixes Ranch. His gifts extended to painting murals for several West Texas Towns, in a detailed manner.

Gary grew up in O'Brian, Texas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. It was his time in Odessa with his grandparents that made the biggest and lasting impression on him. At an early age, he cowboyed in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

The light of his life was his daughter, Amanda.

He enjoyed sharing his artwork. He was a natural born Conservative and he loved God, family and Country.
