Gary Zimmerman

Gary Timmons Zimmerman, beloved young man and lifelong resident of Winnsboro passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 5, 2019. Gary was born on February 8, 1993 in Dallas, Texas to the late Gary Lee Zimmerman and Arminda (Truett) Zimmerman. He was a 2011 graduate of Harmony High School in Upshur County and currently employed with Himes Concrete in Winnsboro. Gary loved taking care of animals, spending quality time with his family and friends and most of all being an adoring father to his little girl Alaina Jo, who he loved with all of his heart. Mr. Zimmerman is survived by his wife Sara Walls; daughter Alaina Jo Zimmerman; mother Arminda Zimmerman; brother Ryan Lee Zimmerman; sister Stormi Jo Zimmerman; grandparents Gary Gene and Carol Zimmerman; grandmother Vera Rawlins; nephews Cade Terry Mathews, Gavin Gary Mathews and Kaleb Mullino; niece Adelaide Baldwin; and numerous other family. The funeral service to celebrate Gary’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Beaty Funeral Home, Bro. Nub Brown officiating. Those who will serve as pallbearers are Keaton McElroy, Tyler Wright, Shawn Jetton, Seth Poteet, Timothy Mays and Randy Mathews. Honorary pallbearers will be Ryan Zimmerman, Ty Truett and Bryan Stephens.
