Geneva Lee Williams

November 16, 1924 — December 10, 2011

Mrs. Geneva Lee Williams passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the age of 87. She was born in Winnsboro on November 16, 1924 to the late Willis Burton Hallman and Ora Zaba Anderson Hallman. Geneva married Floyd Eugene Williams on May 2, 1945. She was a homemaker, and worked part-time at Sears in Dallas. Geneva also served for many years as a Sunday School teacher at Grove Haven Baptist Church in Dallas and volunteered her time to help others. In her later years she was a member of Pine Street Baptist of Winnsboro. Geneva Williams was preceded in death by her parents; sisters and brothers, Pauline McAdams, Cletis Hallman, Jake Hallman and Hazel Stewart. Survivors include her sister, Louise Clark of Winnsboro; her husband of 66 years, Floyd Williams of Mesquite; son and daughter-in-law, Gary Williams and Gerry Milton of Tyler; daughter, Jana Williams of Mesquite; grandchildren, Jason Williams, Summer Morrow and Casey Williams; step grandchild, Samantha Milton; great grandchildren, Hayley Williams, Sydney Morrow, Riley Morrow, Cayden Chaffin and Braylon Chaffin.
