George Henry Barnett, Jr., age 81 of Chandler, Texas, died Saturday, September 17, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, April 23, 1930 in Wood County, Texas to the late George Henry and Mary Francis Barnett, Sr.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a sister, Nettie Francis Vitch of Quitman; several nieces and nephews including, Franell Hanna, Kathy Hodges, Patricia Pushcar, Richard Bernett, Edward Vitch, Bobby Vitch; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Barnett will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas from 2:00 PM till 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home's Memorial Chapel in Mineola at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 with Bro. Steve Neville officiating.
Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
