Mr. George MArshall Pearson, age 43 of Leesburg, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2009. He was born in Arlington on August 5, 1966 to the late Alton Pearson and Cecilia Helms. He was a safety consultant for Merritt Safety in Longview, a member and deacon of New Mine Baptist Church in Pittsburg, and a gideon. He was married to Virginia Wetzel on August 11, 1984 in Winnsboro. He was preceded in death by his father, Alton Pearson; and mother, Cecilia Pearson Simmons. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Virginia Pearson of Leesburg; sons, Aaron Pearson and wife Cassie of Pittsburg, Chad Pearson of Pittsburg; daughter, Allie Pearson of Pittsburg; brothers, Greg Pearson and wife Susan of Granbury, Charles Pearson of Winnsboro; grandmother, Talma Overstreet of Pittsburg; father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Carolyn Wetzel of Pittsburg; brothers-in-law, Dale and wife Julie Wetzel of Pittsburg, Harold Wetzel of Pittsburg; nephew, Koe Wetzel; nieces, Brittany and Hannah Pearson, Presleigh, Zoe Kate, and Danielle Wetzel.
