George Taylor

Mr. George Taylor, age 89 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, July 4th, 2016 at his home in Winnsboro. He was born on May 4th, 1927 in Ferris to the late George Theodore Taylor and Georgia Frances Davidson Taylor. He worked for Renshaw Well Service until he began farming in 1972, he was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Nelda Jean Henson Taylor; his parents; two sisters, Willie Ruth Smith, Martha Scott; and a brother, Arlie Taylor. He is survived by, sons, George Aron Taylor and wife Janice of Porter, Jeff A. Taylor and wife Betty of Murphy, NC.; brother, Oliver Taylor and wife Martha of Dallas; two granddaughters, Kali Dyan Caserta, Kristi Deanne Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Neal and Tripp Neal; and longtime friend and care-giver, Ms. Eddie Williams. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 8th, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 9th, 2016 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro at 2:00 pm, Bro. Paul Chandler and Bro. Ken Goodson conducting, private interment will be at Henson Cemetery in Winnsboro.
