Geogette M. Osipovitch Geremonte January 5, 1943 - January 19, 2021 Georgette M. Osipovitch Geremonte, born on January 5, 1943, at 78 years young died peacefully at UT Jacksonville Hospital on Tuesday, January 19, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving sons and immediate family in New Jersey via FaceTime. Born by a midwife in Carteret where she grew up until she moved with her family to Mineola, Texas in 1979. No distance could ever break the closeness that she had with her family in New Jersey, as her heart and presence were always still there by spending hours on the phone with loved ones and where she visited frequently. She was a devoted mother who loved and lived for her three boys, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and family who she loved so much. Family was her #1 priority, it was everything she lived for and never ever ever did she not end your conversation without telling you "I Love You". She had her shy ways, but was silly, friendly, loved to sing, dance, and was always up to having fun. Georgette had enormous faith in God and loved her bible. Georgette was a woman of an enormous amount of strength and a heart of gold that was filled with a never ending amount love. A gentle, compassionate, beautiful soul inside and out who will be missed till eternity. These admirable attributes are what made her loved by her family beyond measure and also to those that met her. This is the legacy Georgette left behind, one that everyone should learn from and what her family will hold onto that will be held onto and treasured forever in their hearts for comfort as they mourn the tremendous loss. The stars in the sky became much dimmer on the day she was taken into God's arms and away from a family who loved her so much. Georgette was predeceased by so many family members taken before their time. Her beloved mother Irene Sitar Osipovitch, loving father, George Osipovitch Sr., her niece Trisha Osipovitch, niece Deborah Marietta, brother-in-law’s Stephen F. Corba, Dennis Shaughnessy, Robert Marietta Sr., nephew Robert Marietta, Jr. Most recently her treasured much-loved sisters Mary Ann Osipovitch Marietta and Arlene Osipovitch Corba. She is survived by three dedicated loving sons, Anthony Geremonte, Jr., Kevin Geremonte and his wife Gigi, and Gregory Geremonte, Sr. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren Nic and his wife Mary, Gregory Jr., Justyn, Aubrey, Kaitlynn, Angeni, Braxton, Avery, and a great-grandson Braelyn. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth Osipovitch Shaughnessy, her brother George Osipovitch Sr. and wife Paula. A niece, 5 nephews, an uncle, many great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. A memorial will be held at Beaty Funeral in Mineola Texas.
