Gladys Burkham

Ms. Gladys Burkham, age 87 of Winnsboro, passed away, Friday, July 25, 2008 in Winnsboro. She was born on September 18, 1920 in Sulphur Bluff to the late James Andrew and Etta Singleton Burkham. She was a retired Winnsboro High School English teacher , and member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Roy Burkham. She is survived by her two nieces, Gladys Green and husband David of Corpus Christi, Kathryn Newkirk and husband Marion of Corpus Christi; one nephew, Roy L Burkham Jr. and wife Cindy of Corpus Christi; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
