Glen Morris Presson

Mr. Glen Morris Presson, age 80 of Mineola, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Quitman. He was born on February 1, 1940 in Gurdon, Arkansas to the late Dan Presson and Leecie Herrick Presson. Glen was member of Spur On Ministries in Mineola. He was a lifelong barber, active in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and drove a bread truck as a young man. He was preceded in death by brothers, Leaman Presson and Lenard Lee Presson. Survivors include his loving wife, Frances Presson of Mineola; daughter, Suzanne Eldridge Gore and husband Stanley of Weatherford, sons, Laurell Presson and wife, Kathy of Boyd, Texas and Gaylon Presson and wife Denise of Boyd, Thomas England of Mineola and Richard England and wife, Becky of Fouke, Arkansas; brother, Charles "Butch" Presson of Seagraves, Texas; sisters, Jane Curtis of Seagraves, Opal Porter of Andrews, Texas and Joy Mae Ervin of Claira, Oklahoma; and so many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Spur On Ministries 2670 S State Highway 37 Mineola, Texas 75773. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 pm at the church with Bro. Mike Fletcher conducting. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, with Laurel Presson, Duston Presson, Gaylon Presson, Richard England, Thomas England, Willie Manuel, Jessica England, and Javier Ortega serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Spur on Ministries.
