Glenda June Hawkins

Glenda June Hawkins, 71, of Holly Lake Ranch, TX died on Friday, May 30, 2014 in Tyler, TX. She was born on Friday, April 30, 1943 in Fouke, AR to the late Jab and Velvie Ward. She was a member of the Holly Brook Baptist Church and the Holly Lake Cloggers.

She is preceded in death by a brother, David Ward.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ronald Hawkins; son, Shane Hawkins wife Z of Hawkins, TX; two daughters, Lisa Hawkins of Ft. Worth, TX and Lou Ann Hawkins of Mesquite, TX; brother, Troy Ward and wife Vonda of Texarkana, AR; three sisters, Sue Potts and husband Melvin of Fouke, AR, Nelda Davis and husband Tommy of Minden, LA and Lisa Fricks of Texarkana, TX; eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Holly Brook Baptist Church in Hawkins, TX on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 1-2 PM. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Charles Long officiating. Family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Holly Brook Baptist Church building fund.
