Glenn Arthur Voirim

Glenn Arthur Voirim, age 85, of Bartonville, Texas, died Saturday, February 02, 2013 in Grapevine, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, April 13, 1927 in Irving, Texas to the late Chester and Estelle Voirim. He served in the United States Merchant Marines during WWII and was retired from the oil field.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Una Jean Taylor Voirim; and a sister Charlotte Hall.

He is survived by a son, Wayne Voirim and wife Jan of Nacogdoches, Texas; a daughter, Linda Lambert and husband Charlie of Bartonville, Texas; a brother, Larry Voirim of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Mr. Voirim will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Chilton Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM.
