Glenna Ragan Ijames, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on July 15, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on July 5, 1941, in Caddo Mills, Texas, Glenna dedicated her life to enriching the lives of those around her through her artistry as a floral designer, her work for Oral Roberts University in administration registration for new student, her love for music, and her unwavering spirit for adventure. Glenna's love for Jesus and faith in our creator, was evident to all who had an opportunity to meet her. She dearly loved spending time with all her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, fishing with her son and singing with her daughters. She fearlessly loved her family.

Glenna will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Donna Winn, Dora Milam, Debbie Watkins and husband David and her son, Donnie Herod, along with his wife, Tracie Herod. She is also survived by her sister, Renee Stewart and husband Jack; as well as a beautiful legacy of nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter, all of whom will carry on her joyful spirit.

Glenna's family will gather to honor her life during a funeral service held at Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Rev. James Hooper will officiate the service, leading all who attend in a celebration filled with love and remembrance of Glenna's remarkable journey.

Following the service, Glenna will be laid to rest at Harmony Cemetery in Winnsboro at 3:15 PM, where her loved ones will pay their final respects.

Glenna was a passionate advocate for children and cherished her time volunteering with organizations near and dear to her heart. In honor of her legacy, the family encourages memorial donations to be made to Pleasant Hills Children's Home, which can be found at [Pleasant Hills Children's Home](https://www.pleasanthillschildrenshome.org/).

As we gather to celebrate Glenna's life, we remember her gifts of music, her dedication to floral design, and her love for travel and adventure. Her joyful spirit and creative talents touched everyone she met, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. Mother's ultimate Joy was the sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and singing his praises.
