Goldie Meek

Goldie Meek, age 89, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on Tuesday, May 3, 1921 in Clarksville, Texas to the late Kenneth and John Willie Martin.

She was a resident of Mineola, Texas since 1986 coming from Quitman, Texas and was a member of Northside Baptist Church of Mineola.

She is preceded in death by her husband, L. C. Meek; her parents; three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Bradley and husband Ronnie of Mineola; two sisters, Billie Nolan of Gilmer and Ann Weese of Norman, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Jeannie Hortman and husband David of Whitehouse, Texas; and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Hortman and Chloe Hortman.
