Grant Norman Clark

Mr. Grant Clark died June 10, 2009, in Quitman. He was born December 27, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Arther and Addie F. Clark. Mr. Clark married his loving wife Katherine who passed away January 11, 2006. He served in the United States Army and later worked balancing and inspecting tires for Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. for 32 years. Mr. Clark was a Baptist and served as a Deacon at his church in California before moving to Quitman where he has lived for 12 years. He is preceded in death by his loving parents; first wife, Annie Clark; second wife, Katherine Clark; one son, Curtis Claxton; two brothers and one sister. Survivors include two sons, Keith Clark of Mineola, Gerald Claxton of Anaheim, CA; one daughter, Gene Broxton of Quitman; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and four great, great grandsons.
