Gregory Lee Elmore

Gregory Lee Elmore, age 64 of Quitman, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 in Quitman. He was born on September 8, 1956 in Dallas to the late Walter Elmore and Judy Blankenship Elmore . Lee was a member of Summit Heights Fellowship Church, a retired Sergeant with the Wood County Sherriff's office, a former Fire Chief for the Mineola Fire Department, member of the Crucible Project and served in the US Army from 1976-1982. He is survived by, wife, Ann Elmore of Quitman; sons, David Elmore and wife Katherine of Mineola and Shane Elmore and wife, Kelli of Mineola; daughter, Stacie Gomez of Lindale; brothers, Larry Blankenship of Combine and James Elmore of Dallas; sisters, Lisa Alread of Pheonix, Holly Boykin of Sulphur Springs, Maggie Melton of Forney, and Lucretia Sharp of Dallas; four grandchildren, Colby, Dawson, Kennedi, and Graceleigh. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
