Gregory Dewayne Speer, age 56 of Pine Mills, Texas, died Monday, November 14, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Thursday, September 29, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to the late T. L. and Judy Speer.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Thomas Defur and Danny Speer.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Speer of Mineola, Texas; two sons, Michael Perry of Mineola and Billy Speer of Mineola; two daughters, Rebecca Speer of Hawkins, Texas and Amy Phillips of Mineola; a brother, Mark Speer of Tyler, Texas; two sisters, Misty Speer of Chandler, Texas and Rhonda Speer also of Chandler; and eleven grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Speer will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 2:00 PM in Hawkins Cemetery.
