Harding Robert Grant

Harding Robert Grant, age 91, of Mineola, Texas, died Sunday, August 5, 2012 in Mineola, Texas. He was born on Sunday, March 13, 1921 in Quitman, Texas to the late Harlie and Vanarie Grant. He was a manager at Texas Instruments, served in the United States Army during WWII and was a deacon at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lavonia Grant of Mineola; two brothers, W. L. Grant and McKnight Grant both of Dallas, Texas; and a sister, Minnie Pearl Grant also of Dallas.

Visitation for Mr. Grant will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola.

Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Demethrius Boyd officiating.

Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola.
