Mr. Clements died Monday, December 29, 2008 in Tyler. Harvey Clements was born February 2, 1940 to the late Edward Lee and Thelma Marie Clements. He was a well known figure in the Mineola community owning the accounting business, H and G Services retiring in 2000. Mr. Clements served as Past District Governor of the Lions Club, a member since 1969, he also served as Secretary and President of the Mineola Lions Club, a member of Caring and Sharing, the Lake Country Playhouse, board member of the Mineola Youth Foundation, a member of JC's in Irving, and a lifetime member of the Texas Lions Camp and a Melvin Jones Fellow. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Ann Croxton. He survived by his loving wife, Glenda (Hobbs) Clements whom he married, August 23, 1956. He is also survived by his two sons, Harvey Rush Clements II and wife Tina of Mineola, Edward Hunter Clements and wife Crystal, of Sanger; three daughters, Sherry Ann Vann and husband Larry, of Mineola, Karen Sue Williams and husband Michael, of Midlothian, Lisa Diane Broom and husband Blake, of Uniontown, AR; two brothers, John Clements of Dallas, Edward Lee Clements Jr. of Allen; one sister, Peggy Baird, of Lampasses; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
