Helen Ruth Ussery, 92, of Chapel Hill, TN and formally of Mineola, TX passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 in Franklin,TN. She was born on Wednesday, October 18, 1922 in Cooper, TX to the late Jes M. and Media Proffer.

She is also preceded in death by her husband; Arvil Ussery; daughter, Lana Harris; two brothers, Vernon Proffer and Odell Proffer; grandson, Jason Harris.

She is survived by her two sons, Larry Ussery of Chapel Hill, TN, Davis Ussery of Franklin, TN; brother, Raymons Proffer of Coppell, TX; sister, Faye Wright of Arizona; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 10-11 am. Funeral service will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 am officiated by Dale Ussery. Internment will follow at Enon cemetery.
