Herman E. Bourland

Mr. Herman "Streak" Bourland, age 77 of Mt. Vernon. passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2011. He was born in Tarrant County on February 7, 1934 to the late Floyd E. and Beatrice Taylor Bourland. He was a retired structural draftsman for Alexander Machine and Fabrication out of Ft. Worth, and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. He is survived by sons, Haney Bourland and wife Darla of Ft. Worth, Kelly Bourland and wife Deveree of Winnsboro, Rodney Bourland of Ft. Worth; daughter, Stacey Hunter of Ft. Worth; nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
