Mr. Gonzalez died Feb. 25, 2011. He was born Sept. 30, 1943, in Apaseo Guanajuato, Mexico, and lived in Mineola since 1969. He was preceded in death by father, Ramon Gonzalez.
Survivors include sons, Edward Gonzalez, James Curtis Shanks and Gaylor Stine Jr.; daughters, Lisha Shanks Arredondo and Paula Stiner; and mother, Cointa Armenta.
