Howford E Stewart

Mr. Howford E. Stewart, age 83 of Alba, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 5, 2023. He was born on February 23, 1939 in Cairo. Illinois to the late Howford Nolen Stewart and Mary Lois Myers Stewart.

Howford was a Theater Teacher and member of First Christian Church of Doniphan, Missouri. He owned a nursey business and enjoyed landscaping.

Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Stewart of Mineola; son, Loren D. Burke of Tyler; daughter, Amanda Burke and her husband, Brandon Redfearn of Tyler; sister, Wanda Ponder of Doniphan, Missouri; granddaughter, Abi Redfearn; nephews, Craig Ponder, Gregg Ponder and Bruce Stewart along with numerous great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 9th at Roselawn Memorial Gardens 5396 S. State Hwy 37 Mineola, Texas with Rev. John Harwell conducting.
