Hubert Birl Rhodes

Mr. Hubert Birl Rhodes passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at the age of 83. He was born on September 23, 1930 to the late Elijah McClellan Rhodes and Ola Mae Gaitlin Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes was a baptist and served in the U.S. Army. He retired in 1994 after 32 years with TUMCO-Reeds Rail Service. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy Jack Rhodes; brother, J.C. Rhodes; sister, Imogene Byrd and grandpa, Francis Roberts. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Meritta Kaye Parke, Debbie and Fred Scott, Sherry Richmond, Beverly and Mark Roberts and Kathy and Craig Stephen; sons, Clyde Rhodes, Anthony Haggard and Daniel Rhodes; sisters, Pearl Belomy and Linda Weems; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
