Hulbert Larence Perkins

Mr. Hulbert (Herb) Larence Perkins, age 79 of Mineola, passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at his home. He was born on September 15, 1944 in Clarksville, Texas to the late Milton Perkins and Lorene Reed Perkins. Herb was raised in the Antioch Baptist Church.

Herb was the owner of Perkins Tool Rental in Mineola and Quitman Tool Rental and was a former Director of the Mineola Chamber of Commerce.

He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Lamar and granddaughter, Toni Silva.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gwendolyn Roberts Perkins of Mineola; son, Michael Perkins and wife, Krystal of Tyler; daughter, Tammy Brown of Oklahoma; sisters, Carrie Betts and Hilda Perkins both of Clarksville, two grandchildren, Kaine Perkins and Kali Perkins and one great grandchild Olivia Silva, special friends William and Lucy Franklin and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be 1:30 pm Saturday at Haywood Cemetery in Clarksville, Texas.
