Imogene Louise Davis (Bradshaw)

May 9, 1938 — July 31, 2025

Imogene Louise Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, at the age of 87.

Imogene was born on May 9, 1938, in Winnsboro, Texas, to Charlie Eugene Bradshaw Sr. and Elsie Eloise Coker Bradshaw. A lifelong resident of the Winnsboro area, she dedicated her life to her family, her church, and her community.

Imogene was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnsboro, where she found strength and community throughout her life. In 1980, she became a charter member of the Pilot Club of Winnsboro and volunteered her time generously to local events, including the annual Autumn Trails festival an event she cherished deeply.

She had a creative spirit and a love for arts and crafts. Whether she was making something by hand or simply sharing stories with her loved ones, Imogene found joy in the little things and passed that joy on to others. Her greatest joy, however, was found in her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Jimmie Davis, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Imogene is survived by her husband, Jimmie Davis; daughter, Karla Jackson and husband Bobby of Coke, Texas; grandchildren, Michelle Jackson of Winnsboro, WD Jackson of Winnsboro, and Matt Jackson and wife Stephanie of Winnsboro; and great-grandchildren, Brody Jackson, Landon Jackson, and Easton Jackson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Eugene Bradshaw Sr. and Elsie Eloise Coker Bradshaw; her son, James Ray Davis; her brothers, Charlie Eugene Bradshaw Jr. and Clarence Grady Bradshaw; her grandson, Timothy Alan Jackson; and her great-grandson, Isaiah Jackson.

Imogene's life was a beautiful example of kindness, service, and love. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
