Jack Oboy Weems

Mr. Jack Oboy Weems, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, January31, 2012. He was born in Wood County on July 27, 1931 to the late Francis and Kate Banks Weems. He was a lifetime resident of Winnsboro, self-employed, and a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by son, Terry Weems; grandson, Jeremiah Weems; four brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Vernice Weems of Winnsboro; sons, Jackie Weems and Kenny Weems of Winnsboro; daughter Vickie Brenton of Winnsboro; sister, Mary Lou Martin of Lake Worth; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
