James Bittner

James (Jim) Bittner, 75, of Mineola, TX passed away on October 29, 2021 in Tyler, TX. He was born on January 6, 1946 to the late Norman James Bittner and Evelyn Onita Jean Bittner. Mr. Bittner enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, music, dogs, working on his Texas property, building things with his hands, photography and golf.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Bittner; sisters, Linda Sturdivant and Anita Bittner.

Those he leaves behind to cherish his memory, fiancé and love of 17 years, Michelle Chadwick of Mineola; sons, Clay Bittner and wife Marcia of College Grove, TN, Jeff Bittner and wife Beth of Germantown, TN; daughter, Jennifer Montalbano and husband Bryon of Helena, AL; brothers, Ricky Bittner of Nesbit, MS, Bobby Bittner and wife Mellissa of Hernando, MS; sister Judy Frascogna and husband Mike of Jackson, MS; grandchildren, Derek Bittner, Taylor Bittner, Dillion Bittner, Joshua Bittner, Isabelle Bittner, Hannah Montalbano, Haidyn Montalbano, Hallie Montalbano and Henley Montalbano; great grandchild, Kyler Montalbano.

Memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on November 2, 2021 at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola officiated by Bro. Terry Davis. Pallbearers will be Derek Bittner, Taylor Bittner, Dillon Bittner, Joshua Bittner. Honorary pallbearers are The Kitchens Roundtable Group both Past and Present.
