James Harold Cambron

James Harold Cambron, 80, of Scroggins, Texas, joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven on March 2, 2022. Mr. Cambron was born on March 26, 1941, in Texarkana, Texas, to the late Lonnie and Onetia (Honea) Camberon. James was a member of the Local 798 Welder's Union and a longtime member of the Winterfield Baptist Church in Pickton. He loved to wet a hook, hunt, and spend a relaxing time growing his vegetables in his yearly garden. Most of all James loved his family who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Syble Joy Cambron; sons Darryl Cambron and Shane Cambron; sister Lawanna Jean; and grandson Christopher Cambron. James is survived by his daughters Sandra Powledge of Winnsboro, Belinda Allen and husband Vernon of Winnsboro, Debbie Holloway and husband Michael of Pickton, Kathy Rowell of Winnsboro; sons David Rowell and Donny Rowell both of Winnsboro; sisters Judy Smallwood and husband Homer, Rita Sue Collins; brothers Vance Cambron and Gerald Cambron; grandchildren John Wayne Collins, Dylan Ashley, Kaylee Whitson; 2 great-grandchildren Caden Collins and Addison Collins. Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 5th at Smyrna Cemetery with Bro. Troy Hollingsworth and Bro. Donny Chamberlain officiating.
