James W Combs

James W. Combs, age 90, died Thursday, May 24, 2012 in Winnsboro, Texas. He was born on Saturday, May 6, 1922 in Greenville, Texas to the late Lon Edgar and Maude Elena Combs.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruth Combs; three sisters and a brother.

He is survived by two daughters, Elena Hulon and husband Wayne of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Sue Snyder and husband Larry of Winnsboro; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild.

Visitation for Mr. Combs will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Quitman, Texas on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Quitman.
