James Andrew Cox

Mr. James Andrew Cox, 79, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2023, after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 8, 1944, in Karnack, Texas, to Curtis and Carrietta Mills Cox. James was a graduate of Hawkins High in 1962 and received his associate degree in business from Tyler Junior College. Mr. Cox was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Some of his favorite things were golfing, hunting, fishing, black coffee, and family gatherings. James was preceded in death by his father Curtis Cox; wife Linda Simpson Cox. He is survived by daughter Stephaney Arnold (Brian), daughter Bridget Harris (Clint); son James Bryn Cox; mother Carrietta Cox; sister Novis Johnston (Cliff); grandchildren Alyssa Lomuscio, Trevin Griffin, Justin Arnold, Jacob Harris, Jaycee Harris, and Hayden Cox; great-grandchildren Scarlett Griffin, Malainey Sparks, Carter Harris, and Parker Lomuscio.
