James Oscar Field, age 48, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Friday, February 08, 1963 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ervin and Betty Lou Field.
He was offered a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma for baseball.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Peter Field.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Field; a daughter, Laura Marie Cook; a brother J. D. Field; and four grandchildren.
