James Reneau “Butch” Harrison, age 70, died Thursday, May 23, 2013 in Golden, Texas. He was born on Sunday, August 30, 1942 in Van, Texas to the late James and Juanita Harrison. He was an Engineer and worked for DTH Engineering Service.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Pamela Harrison; a son, Jason Reneau Harrison and wife Deanna of Tomball, Texas; two daughters, Stephanie Lisa Arnold of Tomball, Texas, Shannon Rene Cruz of Pflugerville, Texas; two step-daughters, Kellie Lee Kirkwood of Rock Island, Illinois and Paula Ann Kirkwood of Moline, Illinois; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two nieces.

Visitation for Mr. Harrison will be held on Sunday, May 26, 2013 from 6 – 8 PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home on Monday, May 27, 2013 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Don McWhinney officiating.

Interment will follow at Golden Cemetery.
