James Darrell Hooten

Mr. James Darrell Hooten, age 57 of Mineola, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in Tyler. He was born on October 20, 1963 in Dallas to Shelby Hooten and Barbara France Hooten. He was preceded in death by his father Shelby Hooten and sister, Shelly Hooten. James is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Hooten; son, A.J. Farris; daughters, Lisa Farris and Katie Murphy; brother, Jackie Hooten; sister, Misty Mickelson, and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773. Funeral Services will be held #:00 pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Beaty Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Davis conducting, interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, with Ron, Ed Mickelson, Jacob Cox, J.R. Mickelson, Clift France, A.J. Farris serving as pallbearers.
