James Christipher Jackson

James Christipher Jackson, affectionately known as "The Reverend" to his family and friends, peacefully departed from the struggles of this life on June 10, 2024, to embrace his eternal rest. He was born on November 25, 1977, in Tyler, Texas, the beloved son of Ronnie Wayne and Vicki Elaine Jackson.

James spent his formative years in League City, Texas, graduating from Clear Creek High School in 1995. Known for his spirited personality and unwavering love for his family, James was a man of many passions. He was a dedicated video game enthusiast and found great joy in exploring the open road on his motorcycle, a pastime that brought him both solace and exhilaration.

His devotion to his family was unparalleled, with his wife Sunney Hood Jackson holding a cherished place in his heart throughout their 22 years of marriage. James was a loving father to his children, Nathan and Tasha, whom he adored with every fiber of his being. He found immense happiness in their company, creating cherished memories filled with laughter, humor, and boundless love.

Mr. Jackson worked for O'Reilly Auto Parts until health challenges necessitated his retirement. Despite these difficulties, his resilience and positive outlook remained a source of inspiration to all who knew him.

James was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Wayne Jackson, and his son, Christipher Jackson, who await him in eternal peace. He is survived by his devoted wife Sunney, his children Nathan and Tasha, his sister Melissa Jackson, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will carry forward his memory with love and reverence.

James Christipher Jackson will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his unwavering kindness, and his ability to uplift those around him with his quick wit and warm presence.
